The GE DS200IPCSG2A is an IGBT P3 Snubber Board designed for two key systems: GE’s EX2000 Excitation Control Systems and Mark V Turbine Control Systems. It's core role is protecting IGBTs—critical semiconductor devices for power switching in turbines—by suppressing voltage spikes, reducing transient noise, and mitigating overvoltage conditions. This safeguards IGBTs from damage, ensures stable turbine control operation, and extends system longevity.

Physically, it features a 4-pin connector for system integration and adjustment screws to optimize IGBT performance. It mounts in a drive cabinet’s metal rack, aligning with pre-drilled screw holes.
