Physically, the controller is a single-module assembly mounted directly on a sheet metal panel, composed of three core components: the IS400BPPCH2A Processor Board, IS400STWCH1A Input/Output Board, and IS400WEXPH1A I/O Expansion Board. The IS400WEXPH1A is key to its expanded I/O functionality, distinguishing it from earlier UCPA controllers. It operates on a 12V DC nominal power supply with Class II protection and requires input terminal wiring no longer than 98 feet.
