The GE IS220PRTDH1B is an RTD Input Pack part of the Mark VIe Series, designed for distributed control systems. It serves as an interface between 1–2 Ethernet I/O networks and RTD input terminal boards, integrating a shared processor board and a dedicated RTD acquisition board. Supporting simplex operation, it handles up to 8 RTD inputs, critical for temperature monitoring in industrial applications like turbine control. Manufactured in the U.S. and readily available, it operates in -30 to 65°C environments.

Key Features:
RTD Sensing: Supports 8 three-wire RTD inputs with 10mA multiplexed excitation; compatible with TRTDH1D/H2D boards. Detects incompatibility with older TRTD revisions without physical damage.

Connectivity & Power: Uses dual RJ45 Ethernet ports for communication, a 3-pin power input, and a DC-37 pin connector for terminal board links. Soft-start power circuit prevents inrush current.

Reliability: Processor board runs self-tests, verifies hardware-code matching via board IDs, and enables dual active Ethernet paths.

Auto-Reconfiguration: Allows seamless I/O pack replacement—controller auto-downloads bootload, firmware, and parameters when enabled, reducing manual setup.

Performance: A/D converter samples signals 4x/second or 25x/second; supports RTDs up to 300m from the cabinet with max 15Ω two-way cable resistance.
