The GE IS215ACLEH1B is an Application Control Layer Module, a core component of GE’s EX2100/EX2100E Excitation Control Systems and Mark VI Speed Speedtronic gas turbine control systems. Designed for VME rack mounting, it occupies two half-slots in the EX2100 exciter rack or Innovation Series drives, functioning as a microprocessor-based controller to manage critical turbine operations.

Its primary role includes executing control logic, coordinating subsystems, and enabling communication via ISBus and Ethernet. Equipped with a PCI controller, 128 KB L2 cache, and non-volatile flash memory, it handles I/O management, configuration transfers, and data storage.
