The GE IS215UCVGM06A is a Universal Control Variable Generator Module in the Mark VI Speedtronic control system, designed for gas, steam, and balance-of-plant turbine management. As a single-slot board, it features a 650 MHz Intel Celeron processor, 128 MB flash memory, and 128 MB SDRAM, running on the QNX real-time OS to execute turbine application code efficiently.

Equipped with two 10/100BaseTX Ethernet ports, it connects to the UDH via the first port and supports Modbus/EGD on a separate subnet through the second. Integrating with the VME bus, it communicates with I/O boards, syncing with the VCMI board’s clock for precise timing. Its front faceplate includes ports, a reset switch, status LEDs, and a PMC expansion slot, ensuring versatile operation.
